Toys for Tots is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization founded by our United States Marine Corps. Our mission each holiday season is to make sure that every child in Pinellas County has something under the Christmas tree. There is nothing like a smile on a child’s face on Christmas morning.
Last year approximately 8,300 children in our area received toys through Toys for Tots. We could never have done it without the help of concerned citizens and business leaders such as you. This year we expect the need to be greater than last, and we are asking for your help.
We are seeking partnerships with companies such as yours to provide volunteers to work with us for a 4-5 hour shift, organize toy a drive, or coordinate a fundraiser. Volunteer duties vary, but include sorting and organizing toys, driving to pick up toys from colleciton sites, manning the registration desk, escorting families through the distribution line, and many more.
The aid and support you give would greatly aid us in providing assistance to many families in need. Your collaboration would help ensure the success of our mission. We hope that your group will consider spending some time with us to see Toys for Tots in action.
